You should at least go look for some videos of it and play the demo!Alas, the servers are usually quite empty now, but there should still be a small nugget of community left who organise games.. The community is dead, so I am writing this review based on when it was alive. This was fantastic and original game. The array of weapons had unique advantages and disadvantages. Many weapons interacted with many others, allowing you to shoot at enemies in crazy ways. I remember bouncing a hyperbol off of a repulsor with a left spin, and it deflected outwards and around a wall, hitting an enemy. It's a shame it's over.. This is really an awesome game that is quite fun however it has one major problem ..... it is a multi-player game that is rarely played anymore. You can play the game single player with AI bots (which are quite challenging if set to be so) or on LAN if you have seperate keys handy. compatibilityplays on windows 7 & 10 just fine. I have not tested it on win8 systemsbugsNone. The game is not only polished, but has no bugs. fun\/replay valueGood.Multi-PlayerYes.conclusionOne of the hardest things about the game is finding other players to play with. Other than that it is a solid game (be sure and go through the tutorial - Did I mention it has a tutorial ? ). It might be a good game if you have a pack of friends to play together. Sadly, nobody is playing ThreadSpace: Hyperbol online, and fighting against AI gets boring really quick.. It was my first game on steam like 8 years ago. Nowadays it's pretty much dead, but a good review for the old days.. Easily the best game of this type I have ever played. I bought it within a month of release a long time ago and had a blast the whole time. I saw the community start and die, but the game runs without issue 99.9% of the time. I remember chaining projectiles with my friends and throwing hyperbols behind huge waves of defenses; sometimes the enemy team would manage to build a gate of lasers in time to stop the wave of destruction! It is a very intense and real-time strategy game that I wish still had people playing. The game is great as ever, it just requires human players to be fun... :( I wish that it became viral somehow, even if just a little..
