About This Game A girl crashed into a dark forest not knowing where to go, curiosity drives her to open a Pandora’s box that was never meant to be opened. Evie is a short first-person horror narrative that unfolds a mind-boggling event, set in the middle of an eerie forest that was left undiscovered for good reasons. The story starts off by reading diaries left in an abandoned house by a lady named Evie. Alebit short this game has quite the novel to it. I don't believe its anything new, but the way it was portrayed is what really got good. You look around and notice a apartment building. you go and follow the pages to discover the story that follows and a little twist ending. for the price eeh but i also know only 2 people made this game with no prior programming knowledge so this is very excellent. There is no horror in this game. The story is moderately interesting and told through notes so if you want to read an okay story you can buy this game since it is cheap and it is short. Movement is somehow laggy(like it's polled incorrectly) and everything outside looks awful when moving. Frame rate is all over the place when it has no right to be. Lighting doesn't seem to be implemented correctly. The player is apparently the height of a ceiling fan. Worst of all and this is a bit of a spoiler, you might not even be able to beat the game if you're colorblind.The game is short too, my .5 hours was the entire game with looking around and me going online to try to figure out what I was supposed to be doing. I let the quality of the title screen and screenshots lead me to believe this would be more than the buggy learning project it turned out to be.. Incredibly short but enjoyable little game.This is exactly as if Gone Home and The Park had a baby.It`s a story rich game you unravel through notes you find around.Since the game is way too short anything about the story would be a huge spoil so don`t read reviews. It`s going to be short (around 30 minutes) but the graphics are very pretty, the background music and atmosphere are nice and the story is very enticing. It`s just a shame the developer didn`t make it longer, this story had huge potential.. Out of the ten minutes I played the game, I would say I spent maybe two minutes outside loading screens \u2014 and that's me being generous. Had to force a shutdown during the second loading screen I encountered because the scene was taking ridiculously long to load. A real bummer, since from what little I could play the game looks good and I'm quite intrigued by the story, but with how long the loading times are as of now, I find the game unplayable as it is currently.. Really nice game and you don't have to pay much, it's a little bit short but the story is really interesting. Because of the details, you want to look in every corner of the room, sorry for my english, if there are any mistakes :)
